Pantograph Camera
The pantograph’s contact with the overhead wire is brittle and can break off during regular operation. Once broken these contacts can tear down the overhead wire. This can damage the wires and these bad wires can damage unbroken pantograph contacts. To prevent this, a pantograph surveillance is used.
Front Camera
Front facing camera provides Real-time viewing and later investigation of driver training, signals that the driver observed, litter and equipment left by the track, vegetation growth by the tracks, vandalism and unruly activities, unexpected events, etc.
Thermal Camera
With the optional Thermal front facing camera it is possible to detect movement long ahead and keep driving the train in heavy fog and rainy conditions and at night without risking collisions thereby increasing the situational awareness of the operator.
Side & Door Camera
Side & door cameras provide passenger safety and detection against single and multi-carriage vandalism. They assist the train driver to ensure the doorways and the platform are clear. The door cameras can also double up as people counting systems to provide vital statistics for better people and time management.
